If your aren’t tech savvy, you should hire someone to create the website for you, this is fairly inexpensive, and you can tell the creator exactly what you want your site to look like and they will make it happen. Doing it yourself takes much more time and the odds are you won’t be able to figure out how to get all of the graphics you want on there.

A website designer is there to make your website function and aesthetic, it needs to look good or people won’t visit it. To start, you need to come up with some kind of company logo that is unique and really symbolizes what your company is all about.

Don’t make it too complex, you want to use stuff that is simple and easy to remember so when enough people glance over it, they start to recognize it as your company. Your homepage is the most important because it is the first thing people see, and first impressions are everything.

The other pages on your website are important as well because you want to retain the people you have drawn in so that that choose to use your company for the products of services it is offering. To keep in contact with your customers, and for customers to keep in contact with each other, consider creating a blog.

This allows your company to communicate with customers and let them know what is going on within the company; it allows customers to express concerns or make suggestions that, when taken into account, can help you please and draw in more customers; and it can also allow customers to communicate with each other to talk about your company.

These are all useful insights that a blog can allow you to see first-hand and help you shape your company into something that customers are involved with and want to participate with. Another way to keep in contact with customers is social networking.

The entire world is connected to the internet, and most people online have a social networking account. The most popular right now is Facebook. People have online profiles that allow them to post pictures, and update friends on what they are doing.

Many businesses are turning to Facebook to do the same thing with their customers and with potential customers. Since Facebook is a free service, companies use is a marketing tool that reaches a mass audience without spending any money. It is very economical.

Many businesses are also using mini-blogging sites like Twitter. Twitter is fairly new, and it allows individuals to post updates on what they are doing, where they are, or what they are thinking, all in 140 characters or less.

The space is limited on Twitter posts, but it is growing in popularity because it is quick and easy to read and updates of other people can go directly to your phone via text message. Businesses are using this opportunity to post special discounts or offers to customers.

Again, Twitter is free and allows companies to keep in close contact with their customers without paying money to find out what their wants and needs are. Another online tool is Email marketing.

Email marketing is mass-email messages sent to however many people you want. These can include articles, discount offers, links to your website, newsletters, or anything else that is relevant to your company.

You can offer opt-in email messages, which means that existing customers or other people interested in your company can choose to receive all of your messages about your company, or they can choose to not receive them.

You can also send this to millions of email addresses and continue to send those people updates until they request that you stop. This is a great marketing tool that has the ability to reach millions of people without paying to market to them.
